Dr. Jones is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians and the American Academy of Emergency Medicine. He is an attending physician at Jacobi and Montefiore Medical Centers in the Bronx, NY and is the Director of the Emergency Medicine Residency Program at each hospital.
Jacobi Medical Center is a Level 1 Trauma Center and the only Pediatric Trauma Center in the Bronx and Southern Westchester. The Emergency Department at Montefiore Medical Center is one of the top five busiest in the United States and the most-visited in the state of New York.
Dr. Jones is a member of the board of directors of the Regional Emergency Medical Services Council of New York (REMSCO). REMSCO is responsible to the State of New York for coordinating emergency medical services in all five boroughs of the City of New York and is designated by the state to be the policy and administrative authority concerning emergency medical services within the City of New York.
Dr. Jones is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He is certified as an On-Line Medical Control Physician by REMSCO and is the Medical Director of the Central Park Medical Unit.
Dr. Jones is a graduate of Columbia University and received his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
